Well, gents, I suppose you've heard by now of the latest plan Our Most Glorious Lord has to ruin my academics and possibly kill me.

Sally-Anne thinks someone chose me to get to Lucius, because obviously I'm not cut out for the Council, which means I'm in the lovely position of being perceived as a failure before I've even begun. Lucius has given me absolutely nothing to work with, and we have no idea what we'll be asked to do. I suppose the key will be to fail as gracefully as possible, while appearing to try very hard, but without getting too singed in the process.

I'll keep an eye out for Ron. We'll all be keeping an eye out for each other, I'd imagine.

I'm not sure what the rest of the term will be like. I'll do my best to lend a hand when I can, but I don't know how much of my time this is going to take.

And I may be a bit late getting you that feedback for the spring line.

Listen, don't worry about the spring line, or anything else. We have Hitty's help, and plenty of galleons, thanks to you, and we have enough ideas to keep us going for months. Packaging and ads are all set for the next product push, so it's really a lull where you can concentrate on this.

I suppose it's a blessing that people are most likely going to discount me from the start. It'll make it easier to focus on just saving face and keeping the rest of them from getting hurt.

We can try to hit up Fu for ideas, too, come to think of it. The man knows more about the strategy of surprise than probably anyone in the Protectorate.

If I were there, I might suggest sneaking out for a snogging session. That would take your mind off things.

Of course, if my snogging technique weren't up to the challenge and you were to vom anyway, that would put a damper on things.

I seem to remember having no complaints about your snogging technique, but as you know, any good research outcome requires multiple trials.

Might you be up for revisiting this next Hogsmeade weekend? If I'm not off tow-rowing, that is.
