I hope everything has been going well with you. Have you had the chance to look over my monthly reports? I anticipate we'll probably see a reduction in sales after Christmas, but things have been going quite well, at least on that front.
I know you and Aunt Narcissa will be preparing for your annual holiday party, and I'm not expecting you'll have the time at all to stop by the storefront for the opening, but I've sent along an invitation regardless so you'd know when things are going on in case you want to stop by, even for a minute or two.
I was very much hoping for the opportunity to see you over holidays. It's something I always look forward to, and it's just so much better to talk face-to-face instead of over letters. I miss you horribly, and feel so very keenly the need to ask for forgiveness in person. But I suppose I will have to wait for the chance, as I haven't received my invitation to the Holiday party. I understand your anger at my actions, and it pains me a great deal to have this distance between us. I still very much want to meet with you some other time during the holidays so that I can attempt to make amends for what I've done.
I know you're so very busy, and that your social calendar is quite full this time of year, but I do hope you will make time to see me. It just wouldn't be Christmas without the chance to spend some time with you.

You are quite correct that our timetable is extremely full on the 21st but do not take that as a slight against the occasion. Naturally, the strong showing of the business thus far is as welcome as it is surprising. One wishes every success to the entrepreneurial spirit which gives birth to such engaging products. Know that I have indeed been paying close attention to the reports you have sent and am ... pleased ... by this early response. One wonders, of course, how long the initial rush of novelty will last.
Pray understand that the financial benefits were but one consideration of many, which must be taken into account when weighing the wisdom of your association with this clan to whom you have attached yourself. Realising that you are somewhat friendly with your classmate Ron, I do know it may be difficult for you to fully comprehend how aligning with them has repercussions which may take months or even years to affect you, but affect you they surely shall.
Be assured that while we may continue to disagree on this or other topics, particularly where it concerns your future, I have only your own well-being and best interests at heart. I should not wish you to make foolish choices now that would impede your progress later. If these prognostications sound vague and formless, then take a lesson from the indiscretions your 'Aunt' Amanda committed when she was about your age. She, too, believed there could be no negative consequence to following her whim. The outcome did not go well for her, as I believe you know. It was years before she could expect to resume her former standing in society - and even now, that standing is somewhat lower than that she could have commanded had she charted a steadier, more suitable course.
But let us not quarrel at this festive season, particularly when I am sure you have exams and end-of-term projects to complete. Let us instead promise to find time during your school holidays to meet, in person as you request, and you may then see how very close I remain. For you do continue to hold a special place in my thoughts, Little Bit, one which shall always carry a tinge of concern, as if you were my own, but which I hope shall not long be stained by the shadow of this, our current discord.
