Jul. 20th, 2012 04:04 pmWe're almost ready to load onto the train. This week has just flown by! I think I'm still full from the toffee pudding last night. It really was quite good. As were the songs. I've got the chorus from that one about Morgan le Fay still running through my head. She still roams the hills and dells indeed!
Professor Sinistra, thanks again for such a wonderful opportunity. I've enjoyed the chance to get to know some of the rising thirds better, as well as the other counsellors, and it really has been quite interesting to be on the other side of things helping to organize everyone and keep them on schedule. And fun, too! I hope the next group up has as good a time of it as we have.

Date: 2012-07-20 10:51 pm (UTC)I thought supper last night was brilliant. I mean, roast stuffed pheasant! It was awesome when they brought out the platters and marched around showing off what we were getting. I guess it's good to have a big group for a place like that. The venison was good, too. Almost makes you want to go hunt. Wonder if Mum would cook it if we got it.
Nift place, too, the restaurant. The building and the art, I mean.
Anywiz, yeah. Thanks, Professor Siz. It was dead fun being a counsellor. I'm really glad I got to go!

Date: 2012-07-21 01:46 am (UTC)I think camping would've been a great deal more fun with someone to go star gazing with, which is probably why they didn't want to pair us up.
You wouldn't believe what Tamblyn tried to pull. He brought firewhiskey, and when we cruised the Thames, he got roaring drunk and sicked up. Ron and Harry had to clean up after him. If he gets Head Boy, I'm going to laugh so hard.
I'm planning on telling mum I've got a club meeting for something or another that'll last all weekend, when really it's just a giant excuse to spend it with you. Well, and we have that dining whatsit on Saturday evening. But I'm all yours before and after. And I'll be staying in New London on Saturday night, so we can stay out as late as you'd like.
If you're free, that is.
I really have missed you, you know.

Date: 2012-07-21 02:55 am (UTC)There wasn't much star-gazing to be had in that downpour. Not real star-gazing.
Did Harry talk to Chang at all? I'm going to try to get him to, now that she and Diggory are finished.
Tamblyn will definitely have trouble filling Avery's shoes if he's that much of a dunce. None of the fifth and sixth year Slytherins have ever been caught drinking. It helped that Avery looked the other way, but still, only a newt-end would drink until he vommed when he was supposed to be setting an example.
As late as my parents will let me, you mean. But you know, we'll have all those club meetings to attend and some of them do go on for hours, don't they? And I can't help it if certain people have been utterly deprived of my company...
I missed you too, Pansy.

Date: 2012-07-21 03:10 am (UTC)Are they really and truly on the outs? That didn't last terribly long, did it? I heard it's cause Diggory's been all moody since the tournament.
Do we want Harry with someone who is fickle and can't handle a bit of seriousness? Because last I checked, Harry tends to be on the serious side.
They'll probably give Head Boy to Diggory. After all, he was very politic about how he handled the tournament, and they might figure they owe him a bit.
