Nicely done, Draco and Harry. And Oliver Wood too. Harry, I'm so glad they let you use your broom. I've missed seeing you fly at the matches, and you really are a fantastic Seeker.
Aunt Narcissa and Lucius, it was wonderful to see you at the match. And thanks again for the lovely chocolates, Lucius, I very much appreciated them, and your note as well. And Aunt Narcissa, I was glad to see that you were doing well.

I have no idea what's actually happened, though, other than what they said in the newspaper. And everything printed in the newspaper is usually rubbish anyways. I suppose that if it's something you want to find out about, you can always ask after summer hols have started and there's been some time for things to settle down. But it must be awfully frustrating to not know the entire story.
I think that sort of life would be terrifically sad. All Milli wants is to get married and run a household, and I don't know who on earth would want to marry her, so she probably won't even reach that low bar. I think sometimes that's the reason she's so sour all the time.
And if getting scared or feeling sad or lonely sometimes means that you can also feel happiness and love and real satisfaction, well, I guess I'll take the bad with the good rather than none of them at all.

God, now I sound like I envy Millie. Didn't mean to go there, I swear.

It was quite amusing.
Are you writing anyone for YPL and doing the summer programme? I mean to write Tennebridge, because even if I don't end up doing the things this summer, I'd still like to keep up a correspondence, and this is as good an excuse as any.

Date: 2011-05-23 06:04 am (UTC)I'm definitely doing the programme so I should write to someone, but I just don't know who. A lot of what I do when I get older will depend on certain other things, anyway.
