Nicely done, Draco and Harry. And Oliver Wood too. Harry, I'm so glad they let you use your broom. I've missed seeing you fly at the matches, and you really are a fantastic Seeker.
Aunt Narcissa and Lucius, it was wonderful to see you at the match. And thanks again for the lovely chocolates, Lucius, I very much appreciated them, and your note as well. And Aunt Narcissa, I was glad to see that you were doing well.

Date: 2011-05-22 05:32 pm (UTC)And it must've been awful to read about your mum in the paper like that. I'm glad she came to the game, though, despite everything. I know she likes to put on a good front and all, but she really did look well. And it was good that Lucius could come back from France to be with her. That must've been a great comfort to her, and seeing you play, too, of course.
And true, I didn't feel much like being there, but it was better than sitting in my bed and feeling sorry for myself. It was worth it to see just how happy Harry looked to be back on his broom.
Re: Private message to Pansy
Date: 2011-05-22 10:03 pm (UTC)I'm almost used to people trying to hurt Harry (I feel like rubbish, writing that, but it's true), but this is different. And this time is bad for her too, you know. Because of him.
I wonder what it must be like to have a really, really boring life. You know, to be someone who's really thick and barely has any emotions - like Bulstrode. Sometimes I think it might be peaceful.
Re: Private message to Pansy
Date: 2011-05-22 10:17 pm (UTC)Maybe that's why it's happening now? Because they know she'd be more vulnerable than usual?
I have no idea what's actually happened, though, other than what they said in the newspaper. And everything printed in the newspaper is usually rubbish anyways. I suppose that if it's something you want to find out about, you can always ask after summer hols have started and there's been some time for things to settle down. But it must be awfully frustrating to not know the entire story.
I think that sort of life would be terrifically sad. All Milli wants is to get married and run a household, and I don't know who on earth would want to marry her, so she probably won't even reach that low bar. I think sometimes that's the reason she's so sour all the time.
And if getting scared or feeling sad or lonely sometimes means that you can also feel happiness and love and real satisfaction, well, I guess I'll take the bad with the good rather than none of them at all.
Re: Private message to Pansy
Date: 2011-05-22 11:26 pm (UTC)See, you think Millie's sour, but I think she just doesn't care. She just lives her life letting everyone know what she thinks and feels at any given moment, even if nobody wants to hear it. I bet she was never once told to keep a stiff upper lip, either.
God, now I sound like I envy Millie. Didn't mean to go there, I swear.

Date: 2011-05-23 12:00 am (UTC)I was just imagining you as a housewife.
It was quite amusing.
Are you writing anyone for YPL and doing the summer programme? I mean to write Tennebridge, because even if I don't end up doing the things this summer, I'd still like to keep up a correspondence, and this is as good an excuse as any.
Re: Private message to Pansy
Date: 2011-05-23 06:04 am (UTC)I'm definitely doing the programme so I should write to someone, but I just don't know who. A lot of what I do when I get older will depend on certain other things, anyway.
