Sir, I was thinking
It is rather difficult to sit and wait, and we've played enough games of Snap and chess to make our heads ache, and it sounds sort of mad, but I was wondering if it would be out of sorts if we had a bit of a sing-along? Patriotic songs, the latest Warbeck ballad, anything to get our minds off of things and relieve a bit of tension.
I thought I'd run it by you to see if it would be utterly inappropriate, but singing (or listening to others sing) does keep one occupied, and we're in sore need of an occupation that isn't overly trying.

Date: 2015-05-16 01:53 am (UTC)Salazar's mercy, that bloody repetition is getting annoyingI don't see a problem, but mine is not the approval you ought to be seeking -- "the Headmaster said it was all right" is not an ex post facto defense you wish to use on an irritated guard with a wand. I'm confident you can create a lovely distraction for your peers, however.
