It must've been galling to pretend not to know that last one. He did make quite a lot out of you not knowing it. I think he was just frustrated you didn't trip up until then.
It was rather an invigourating test of one's knowledge, what. Perhaps if Professor Brutka had challenged us more frequently, there would have been more than myself and Sally-Anne vying for first place.
