And the party this evening was just the thing. A wizard way to celebrate end of term. Leave it to Malfoy to choose the most auspicious time for a birthday!

(Mother says that I was ill-mannered and arrived in the midst of a nasty spring storm--freezing rain and murderous wind--and, of course, she couldn't just pop through the Floo or Apparate in that condition. Says it was paradoxical: I've been perfect ever since, but the start was as far from auspicious as one can imagine.)
