I Solemnly Swear That I Am Up To No Good

I thought that I was doing the right thing the other day, but it drew all sorts of attention to all of you instead of making things better, awful attention, and it was something I did that set it all off, and I'm sorry for it.
What's mad is that we've been around one another since first year, Sally-Anne and Ron and Neville and me. And even though we don't usually parade it around and talk about it loads where people can see, everyone who knows us at all knows that we're all friendly. They may not understand it, but they know it. I suppose I thought it was dealt with back in second year and didn't bother people as much because it'd been so long. And the fact that it does bother people is ridiculous. And we shouldn't have to keep ourselves from talking where people can see. But apparently it does, and we do.
I just guess some people don't like being reminded of it, and wanted to let everybody know they didn't think it was right.
Neville, I hope things haven't gotten worse for you. Maybe being lumped in with all of us wasn't all that bad of a thing, but still.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that I thought things were different, and I'm sad they're not. And even though I don't always say it where people can see, I still mean it. And I could've handled things a bit better yesterday, and I'm sorry for that too. That's all.
