Mr Tenebridge;
We're doing an assignment from school for the Young Protectors' League where we're supposed to write someone who is in a profession that we aspire to when we leave school. And the first person I could think of was you. I admire and respect you, and I can't think of anything more incredible than what you do.
I've wanted to be involved in the music industry for ages, and the more I learn, the more I appreciate what it is that you've been able to accomplish with Presto Records. I think it is something I can see myself doing, and not for a lark, or because I need just any old job as long as it has a wage, or because I think I could be that person singing on the radio. I want to do something that I can really be passionate about, and can do well, and I really think that working in the music industry as a manager or a producer could be that for me.
I've taken your advice, and kept up on my writing. I've also begun learning the guitar, and it really has made me think a lot more about chord progression and helped me develop my hooks a bit more, so I appreciate your recommending that to me. I don't know if any of these songs that I'm working on will go anywhere, but the more I learn about it by doing it myself, the better I'll hopefully be later on down the line, and the better job I'll do if I get the chance to produce someone else's music or manage my own band someday.
It's a little thing, but earlier this week I sat down with a friend of mine, and she sung a song that I wrote, and it just felt so incredible and so right, and was just about the best thing I think I've ever done.
I know you're a terribly busy person, but I wanted to let you know how much our meetings have meant to me, and that I look forward to talking with you again in the future.
